The Green Flag Program was officially launched September 16th-19th, 2003 at schools all around the country.  Schools across the nation participated in the kick off year, formed Green Flag teams, and truly improved the environmental health of their school environments, while learning how to work in a team, make presentations, and engage in community change projects.

Scroll down for media advisories, articles, and photos of participating Green Flag schools.  If you are starting the Green Flag Program at your school, don't hesitate to contact us for help publicizing the program in your area!
