The Green Flag Program promotes student leadership and activism for the creation of safer and healthier school environments. Created in 2002 as a project of the Child Proofing Our Communities Campaign coordinated by the Center for Health, Environment and Justice, the Green Flag Program assists schools across the country to achieve environmental success in the program's four issue areas. Form a team, work with key stakeholders to improve your school's environmental practices, and earn environmental rewards with the Green Flag Program.
